Ingredients
For the Chicken Marinade:
- ½ tbsp Raashtr Chilli Powder
- ½ tbsp Raashtr Mix Masala
- 2 tbsp Cornflour
- 2 tbsp All-purpose Flour (Maida)
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- Salt to taste
- Water to make a thick batter
Ingredients:
- 500 Gram Chicken (boneless) (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 Large Capsicum (Bell Peppers) cut into cubes
- 1 Medium Onions
- 3-4 slit Green Chilies slit or chopped
- 6 cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Ginger finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Spring Onions chopped for garnish
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Green Chili Sauce
- 1 tbsp Red Chili Sauce
- 1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
- 2 tbsp Cornflour
- 2 tbsp All-purpose Flour (Maida)
- 1 tbsp Raashtr Chilli Powder
- 1 tbsp Raashtr Mix Masala
- Salt to taste
- ½ tbsp Pepper
- Oil for deep frying and stir-frying
Instructions
Marinate the Chicken:
- In a bowl, mix chicken pieces with cornflour, all-purpose flour, soy sauce, Raashtr chilli powder, Raashtr mix masala, and salt.
- Add water gradually to form a thick batter that coats the chicken pieces evenly.
- Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
Fry the Chicken:
- Heat oil in a deep pan. Fry the marinated chicken pieces until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
Prepare the Stir-fry Vegetables:
- In a wok or pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil. Add chopped garlic and ginger and sauté until golden.
- Add green chilies, onions, and capsicum. Stir-fry on high heat for 2-3 minutes, keeping the vegetables slightly crunchy.
Make the Sauce:
- Add soy sauce, green chili sauce, red chili sauce, and tomato ketchup to the stir-fried vegetables. Stir well.
- If you want a thicker sauce, dissolve 1 teaspoon of cornflour in 2 tablespoons of water and add to the pan. Stir until the sauce thickens.
Toss the Chicken:
- Add the crispy fried chicken pieces to the wok and toss them in the sauce until evenly coated.
- Season with Raashtr chilli powder, Raashtr mix masala, salt, and pepper to taste.
Garnish and Serve:
- Garnish with chopped spring onions.
- Serve hot with fried rice or noodles.
